Who we are
On Point Business is made by Peter Brockmann, Marlborough, Massachusetts. Contact: peter@brockmann.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, and how you sign in (Apple, Google or email). If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive only the relay address.
- What managers enter: employee names, optional email addresses, the groups, departments and shifts people belong to, and the points and written feedback a manager gives.
- Messages: chats between a manager and an employee, and announcements a manager sends.
- Support requests: the name, email and message you send us, with basic app diagnostics (app version, device model, iOS version, and counts such as number of teams and employees).
- Device tokens used to deliver notifications, and an app-integrity check (Firebase App Check) that confirms requests come from the genuine app.
- Subscription status from Apple, through RevenueCat. We never see your payment card details.
Who can see what
- A manager sees the records of the business they manage.
- An employee sees only their own points, feedback and rank, their own messages with the manager, and announcements sent to their groups. Employees can't see other employees' scores, feedback or contact details.
Who processes it for us
Google Firebase (accounts, database, notifications, hosting), Amazon Web Services (sending email), RevenueCat (subscription status) and Apple (purchases and notifications). We don't sell personal information, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
Deleting your account
- Employees can delete their account in the app. Your sign-in and profile are deleted. The business keeps the points and feedback records it created about your work, no longer linked to your account.
- Managers can delete their account in the app. This deletes the business and all of its records, including employees, points, feedback and messages. Cancel your subscription separately in your Apple ID settings.
- If a business's subscription lapses, its data is kept read-only for 30 days and then archived.
Children
On Point Business is a workplace app and isn't directed to children under 13.
